Seventeen.

Spring semester is in session and in full swing!

Sadly I'm spending my Sunday afternoon doing French 211 homework.

I decided to open up my window to listen to the rain and watch The Golden Compass while I try to focus on my homework (my focus isn't so keen today)

Silver lining: I got my new necklace from Pink Bombshell in yesterday

Sixteen.

When I'm looking for something that has a vintage quality to it or a piece of clothing I know I won't be able to find anywhere else I always turn to modcloth. I've never been disappointed with my purchases. My biggest obsession when it comes to fashion is peacock feathers. If it's peacock feather apparel and I think it's cute there's no stopping me from buying it. So that's why I had to share these with you guys:

Engagement photos of Daniel and Hannah.

We got so lucky and got stuck in the snow

the day after we had scheduled to do photos

so the engagement photos turned out great!

I absolutely love winter.

Mainly because of the clothes.

Twelve.

Getting up to 8 inches of snow in Mississippi is basically unheard of. So when I agreed to do engagement photos of my friends, Hannah and Daniel, I didn't believe the local weatherman when he told me it was going to snow that day (Sunday, Jan. 9)

To make a long story short, I ended up getting snowed in Tupelo (about an hour from where I live) so Daniel's family opened up their home to me. It was one of the biggest blessings God has ever presented to my life. Mrs. Hester fed me for two days, Lauren let me borrow some of her clothes, and the Hester's let me sleep in their guest bedroom. Such kindness really made my snow days 100x better than the greatness they already were. So I have photos of my fun to share with you guys. Hope you enjoy!

eleven.

The year of the rabbit. 2011.

Started the year off on 1-1-11.

Does this mean it's going to be a lucky year for everyone?

Today was not lucky for me but it was nice.

Ever have those days where you just lay on your couch, 

watch movies all day and absolutely LOVE it?

Yeah that was my day today.

Started my day off with:

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps

The trailer makes the movie look a lot better than it actually was.

I'd have to give it a 3 out of 5.

and then I proceeded to my ultimate nerd side with:

Yes Doctor Who is my guilty please.

It gets so incredibly nerdy and sci-fi sometimes, 

but the historical background to many of the 

    episodes is what makes me love it. And that

    David Tennant is just absolutely hilarious!

    He always gets a 5 out of 5 from me.

Finished my night off with Easy A. It was a lot 

cheesier than I expected but Emma Stone's Olive 

character was hilarious. Her smart witty humor made

the movie worth watching. I'll give it 4 out of 5.
